Collective Learning and Inspiration: LyceumLive Launches

changing the worldRecently, I was lucky enough to be the inaugural speaker for a new Boston-based organization called LyceumLive that is dedicated to creating forums for information around positive change, and for contributing to a world that works.

As founder Rose Dunn says: “I founded LyceumLive because I believe that good information leads to inspiration. Few would argue that the world needs change, but we get overwhelmed about where to begin. Many of us stand on the sidelines because we don’t know how to reshape our world. We feel our hearts longing to belong to something bigger than ourselves, but its scary to enact change alone.”

Opportunities like LyceumLive are vital to empowering collective consciousness. It’s a way for people to share their passion around societal and environmental changes.

What I experienced at my LyceumLive presentation at the lovely Center at Westwoods was diverse community showing up to consider new viewpoints and new possibilities around the co-creation of intentional community. Attendees explored the values they desire to live through groups and communities, as well as how to create cohesive groups committed to change.

Participants played at co-creating intentional community, discussing the importance of aligning their individual talents and strengths toward a focused goal.

“LyceumLive provides a path forward for people in my community here in the Boston area,” says Dunn. “By connecting thought leaders with curious seekers and dialoguing around various issues and possibilities collaboration becomes more inspired and hopeful. World change can begin anywhere caring individuals gather.”

Several of the participants commented that they were thrilled and relieved to meet others with similar passions around positive world change. Participants of the Collective Manifestation workshop included a permaculture expert, a leadership facilitator, an author, a business coach, a branding mentor, a mid-wife, a professional organizer, and a mother searching for a way to expand her nurturing ability into the world, among others.World change and shifting the collective consciousness into empowered possibilities is happening through new organizations like LyceumLive.
