Why the Global Crisis Is The Perfect Creative Challenge to Expand Human Potential

The global crisis we face on many fronts – environmental, economic, education, political, social – may just be the perfect challenge to help us liberate ourselves from the cocoon of old programming, to spread our creative wings, and to advance human potential.

If there is one thing centuries of disasters has shown, humans tend to meet seismic challenges as bigger and better expressions of their everyday selves. In times of crises we tend to give more generously of both our outer resources (time, money, muscle, possessions) and of our inner resources of the heart, mind and spirit.

To creatively address our current global challenges, we need to be at this high-level of heart, mind and spirit commitment with more consistency.

Everything seems to be conspiring for us to rebirth our self identity, so that we bring forth new creative abilities and combined super-human strengths. For many of us this means letting-go of the old version of our self – the self that thought following a prescribed path was the answer to success.

Time to get off-road in order to connect to different factions of human potential (realizing that the whole is more than the sum of the parts). We need to unite with like-minded and diverse people with a high level of excitement and creativity and commitment.

To expand human potential, we need to brave authentic and vulnerable engagement – a willingness to be seen and heard as we likewise listen and process expanded possibilities with an open mind.

To give visibility to human potential, we need to keep expressing ourselves with transparency so that others are encouraged to join their talents, passions and interests with ours without fear of hidden ego-directed agendas.

Quite simply, we need to show up for the one thing that we are most passionate about. Directed by that inspiration, we can collaborate and newly manifest from various combinations of human brilliance and expanded heart energy.

We can’t afford to be living life halfway. Who wants to anyways?

All around me I see people responding to various areas of passion with their best balanced selves fully in gear. And, this is the tip of the iceberg of human potential that is engaged and expanded. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what needs to happen in order for human potential to shift into a higher gear.

We’re in this together and there really isn’t anything we can’t do…except be complacent! Our greatest achievements, contributions and life fulfillment depends on a resounding “Yes!” to this life adventure, to exactly the adventure all around us.

Like never before, we are being presented with the perfect challenges to really show what humans can be, express, and do. I hope you decide to be ALL IN.
